History
In 2007, after five years of running the Day Camp @ the JCC, a successful, enriching summer camp located inside the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, we opened our first camp outside of the city, on a rustic five-acre property in Pearl River, NY. After 9 summers of loving, dedicated staff; happy campers; and warm, heartfelt moments, we knew we wanted more for our camp community. In 2016, JCC Manhattan purchased a 21-acre property, more than four times larger than our previous space, nestled in the foothills of Harriman State Park, in Pomona, NY, and Camp Settoga was born.
A magical place infused with Jewish values and engaging programming designed to excite, inspire, and connect campers each summer. Camp Settoga features an Olympic-sized pool, a multi-court athletic complex, a 16-element challenge course, and exceptional culinary and art centers.
